Cookie Policy
Effective
This policy explains how and why we use cookies and similar technologies, which ones we use, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What a cookie is
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let a site recognise your browser between requests. Session cookies are erased when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for a set period. First-party cookies are set by this site; third-party cookies are set by another organisation whose code runs on it. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels, and refer to all of them as cookies here.
How we use them
- To keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.
- To remember your preferences, including your cookie choices.
- To understand how the product is used, so we can improve it.
What we use
| Provider | Purpose | Category | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics and session replay in the application, used to understand how it is used and to diagnose faults. Hosted in the EU. | Analytics | Third party (PostHog) |
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in to the application. | Strictly necessary | First party |
| Web fonts | Loads the typefaces the site is set in. No cookies are set and no profile is built. | Strictly necessary | Third party (Fontshare, Google Fonts) |
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the service to work. The others are set when you use the site.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you do this per site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the service working. You can also opt out of analytics at the browser level, and we honour that signal below.
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser broadcasts GPC we treat it as an opt-out of non-essential cookies and of the sale or sharing of personal information. See also Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Changes
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The effective date above tells you when it last changed.
